ARTIFICIAL intelligence chatbots ChatGPT and Grok have clashed on their presidential election picks, but agree with Jim Gavin's decision to quit.

The Star pressed both to choose a candidate and explain their reasons.

OpenAl's ChatGPT picked Catherine Connolly because she's an “independent voice", “not directly tied to a governing party,” and said if she were elected, it would represent a “fresh direction”.

It added: “She offers a fresh and more socially oriented vision, which seems well aligned with the sort of symbolic leadership the Aras can offer.”
