16 MONTHS IN JAIL FOR DRIVING CAR THROUGH CROWD

AN activist who live-streamed himself driving his car into an anti-immigration protester during a demonstration in Dublin has been sentenced to 16 months in prison.
Stephen Bedford, 38, of Merchants Quay, Dublin, was before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court yesterday, having pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle through a crowd of people, which created a substantial risk of death or serious harm to others at the Five Lamps junction on February 1
