Thanks for all that you do, officers

THE awarding of Scott Medals to gardai yesterday not only highlights the courage of members of the force but it should also act as a reminder of the deadly perils they face in the course of their work.

There is no other profession in the country whose members are potentially called on to put their life on the line on a daily basis in order to keep the public safe.
