Sir David chats to King at premiere

THE premiere of David Attenborough's “most important story” took place last night as the TV naturalist marks his 99th birthday tomorrow.

Fellow environmentalist King Charles walked the “blue carpet” at the Royal Festival Hall in London before watching the presenter’s new film, Ocean with David Attenborough.

The pair chatted animatedly before the film, in which Sir David delivers an urgent message about the importance of a healthy ocean, was played to 2,000 guests.

Stars in attendance included Sir Michael Palin, sisters Poppy and Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, Penny Lancaster and her son Alastair Wallace Stewart.
