IGOR TUDOR and Pedro Porro believe Tottenham captain Cristian Romero will make the difference as he finally returns to action.

STRUGGLING SPURS NEED CRIS OF LIFE

Romero has been missing for Spurs since picking up a four-game ban in the Premier League last month for a late lunge on Manchester United's Casemiro. It was the Argentine's fourth suspension of the season but he is now back in the fold for the Champions League last16 first leg at Atletico Madrid.

Romero has lost only one of his past five matches in a Spurs shirt and the World Cup-winning centre-back has contributed at the other end of the pitch with 10 goal involvements in 28 games this season.
