Austrian school shooter swept through building and killed 10 before armed cops swooped

A SCHOOL gunman killed nine pupils and a teacher in just seven minutes, police in Austria said.

The killer, known only as Artur A, shot through a classroom door after pupils barricaded themselves inside.

Police arrived at Dreierschützengasse high school in Graz within six minutes of the alarm being raised at 10am on Tuesday. Elite Cobra anti-terror officers entered the building after 17 minutes.

But they found only bodies, horrified survivors and multiple casualties.

Artur, 21, who was an ex-pupil of the school and claimed to have been bullied, was also dead after shooting himself in a bathroom.
