Bruno reveals not even Saudi millions and Ronaldo talks could tempt him to quit United

- BY STEVEN RAILSTON

BRUNO FERNANDES admitted a breathtaking offer from Saudi Arabia and talks with Cristiano Ronaldo could not tempt him to abandon his ambitions with Manchester United.

The Portuguese midfielder is set to make his 300th appearance for United against Brighton this evening, just under five years on from his electric impact after arriving in Manchester from Sporting Lisbon.

"I was just hungry enough to do everything, because the first chance was the last one, so I had to make it," Fernandes said.

"There was nothing else in my head other than making it in the Premier League, because it was my dream to play for this club for many years."

That dream almost came to an end in the summer when Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal made a bid to sign United's captain. Fernandes puffed his cheeks as he conceded their offer was "very good".
