Shooter kills 8 in Texas shopping mall rampage
A GUNMAN killed eight people at a shopping centre in the US before being shot dead by police.
Seven other people were injured, three of them critically, in the attack on Saturday afternoon at Allen Premium Outlets, in Dallas,Texas.
Horrifying dashcam video showed the unnamed gunman step out of a vehicle outside the centre and immediately start shooting at people on the pavement.
More than 36 shots could be heard as the vehicle recording the video drove off.
Authorities have not provided details on the victims, but witnesses reported seeing children among them.
