‘Ferrari’ jungle dog races home to UK

A couple have spent thousands on a rescue mission to bring a puppy back to the UK after finding him stuck in a hole in a tropical jungle.

While volunteering at an animal shelter in the Yucatan region of Mexico, Kathryn Grace and her husband, David Brudnell, heard faint yelps coming from the jungle undergrowth.

They discovered a tiny, frightened puppy thought to be about three months old, cowering in a hole.

After pulling the pup to safety, they took him back to their accommodation and quickly fell in love.

They named him Dennis - and decided they couldn't be parted.
