Calvert-Lewin scores again as Leeds crush Forest to ease drop fears

- BY SARAH CLAPSON

DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN scored again as Leeds gave their Premier League survival hopes a huge shot in the arm with a decisive victory that dragged Nottingham Forest deeper into the relegation dogfight.

In an effective ‘six-pointer’, Leeds lifted themselves nine clear of the drop zone and three ahead of Forest.

Such was the commanding nature of their win, it will have restored faith at Elland Road that there will be another season of Premier League football to come.

Calvert-Lewin's 10th league goal of the season topped up a double strike within four first-half minutes from Jayden Bogle and Noah Okafor and allows Daniel Farke’s side to rest easy heading into the rest of the weekends fixtures.

But it was a different story for Sean Dyche’s side and Forest will be looking over their shoulder anxiously.
