Ex-Liveline host Joe jokes theme change 'should be probed'

- BY SHAUNA BANNON WARD

JOE Duffy has spoken out on the Liveline theme tune change made after he left - jokingly calling it a "crime".

The radio legend hosted the RTE Radio 1 show for 27 years, but he stepped down earlier this year.

It was recently announced that former Newstalk star Kieran Cuddihy would be taking over the reins, with the radio presenter airing his first show last week.

Listeners did notice one thing that has changed with the presenter - and that is its famous signature tune. The former tune is called Over The Moors and it's by the Irish band Stockton's Wing. It's been a feature of the show for 40 years.
