bus collision probed

A WOMAN who died in a collision involving a bus and a car has been named by police.

The PSNI, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the two-vehicle collision on the Ballyrobin Road in Templepatrick, Co Antrim, at 8am on Saturday.

A woman driving a black Citroen C1 car was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been named as 23-year-old Claudia Jaczyk from the Newtownabbey area of Co Antrim.

The driver of the bus, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
