Day temperatures in Telangana likely to rise and reach a peak in May

If you are already sweating due to the summer heat now-a-days just wait, it is going to get hotter by next week with the weather forecasters expecting a two-three degrees rise in temperatures in the capital region and across Telangana.

The maximum or the day temperatures, which are now hovering around 38-39 degree C in the twin cities and up to 42 degree C in the North Telangana region of Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Kamareddy, and others, could soon see a rise of up to three degrees above normal. "From about April 15-18, we can expect the day temperatures to rise and this will reach the peak in May. This is also the period when the hot Northerly winds will pick up momentum over the prevailing Easterlies," explained Telangana Development Planning Society (TGPS) senior weather consultant Y. V. Rama Rao.
