Wigan's Peet concedes Rovers are in pole position for title

WIGAN head coach Matt Peet admitted it is advantage Hull KR in the battle for the Betfred Super League's top spot after watching his side crash to their third defeat of the season at Wakefield.

Tries from Caius Faatili, Josh Griffin and Tom Johnstone wrapped up a stirring 16-10 win for the buoyant hosts that leaves the defending champions four points adrift of Willie Peters' all-conquering Rovers.

"I think they (Rovers) are certainly in pole position," said Peet.
