Week-long closure for roadworks

A VILLAGE road in East Yorkshire is set to close to through traffic for a week.

An improvement project is taking place to upgrade Main Street, in Etton, between the junctions with the B1248 Bainton to Beverley road, and New Road in the village.

East Riding Council says the £100,000 scheme will begin on Monday, September 22, with work carried out during the daytime throughout that week.
