Some planned A63 overnight closures 'no longer required'

CHANGES ARE DUE TO 'A SLIGHT RESEQUENCING OF WORKS'
NATIONAL Highways has altered the schedule of overnight closures planned for this month on the A63.
The A63 Castle Street project, which started more than five years ago, seeks to take a section of the A63 into an underpass, allowing Ferensway to connect with Commercial Road at ground level.
In December, the £355m project, had its expected completion date delayed by a full year to Spring 2026.
National Highways explained this delay by saying they had "encountered some challenging ground conditions near the Humber that could not have been anticipated before the scheme began".
