Robins chasing Lawton as Kelepi replacement

HULL KR have identified North Queensland Cowboys' versatile forward Karl Lawton as their latest potential new recruit following the departure of Kelepi Tanginoa last week.

The exit of Tanginoa to Warrington Wolves has opened up some salary cap space and a quota spot - and the Robins are keen to sign the 29-year-old for next season - who can play in the hooker, back row, and loose-forward positions.
As it stands, the Cowboys are yet to agree to Lawton's release.
