Promotion and relegation for SL?

SUPER League is still to determine whether it will run with promotion and relegation in 2026, despite the full fixtures for the upcoming season coming out today.

The competition voted for its first increase of clubs in over a decade this summer, increasing the top flight to 14 teams, as last seen in the 2014 season.
That saw Bradford Bulls promoted via IMG's gradings at the expense of Salford Red Devils and a panel selecting Toulouse Olympique and York Knights as its 13th and 14th clubs.
But there is still no clarification on what will happen to the side who finishes bottom in 2026 and also the club who tops an extended 21-team Championship, with promotion and relegation still very much a topic in the air.
