Peters: We should be humming and ready to go
Hull Daily Mail
|October 01, 2025
WILLIE Peters insists his Hull KR side will be “ready to go” after a well-deserved weekend off, as they target a return to Old Trafford in pursuit of a historic treble.
The Robins faced criticism for showing signs of fatigue during the closing stages of the regular season, leaving it late to clinch the League Leaders’ Shield after defeats to Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity.
However, their victory over Warrington Wolves in the final round sealed a second title of the year - following June's Challenge Cup triumph at Wembley - with eyes now firmly fixed on the ultimate prize and achieving a long-term preseason goal.
