New lifts must be high priority for hospital

HONESTLY you'd have thought when they redeveloped Hull Royal Infirmary, top of the agenda, would have been could we fit in more lifts, inside or built on the outside.

Having to visit, unfortunately, for the last month most days, and the lift issue can be a pain for staff and visitors.

But yesterday alone, out of four lifts, one was down completely, two had gone to VIP, which only staff are able to access with a card, visitors can use but only to the floors the staff plan to end at.
