Man in charge of tending cannabis grow is locked up

POLICE raided a house and found a sophisticated cannabis factory where 102 plants were being grown across four rooms for commercial sale.

The man who was in charge of watering and looking after the cannabis plants had two “work phones” which played a vital role in allowing him to receive instructions from those above him in the chain, Hull Crown Court heard.

Tauras Kiriliauskas, 24, who had been living at Stanley Street, off Spring Bank, Hull, but was recently in custody on remand, admitted producing cannabis and abstracting electricity on March 7.
