Magic Weekend decision made after talks with popular venue

MAGIC Weekend is set to continue as part of the Super League calendar in 2026, despite fears it would be scrapped.

There was a possibility that the event would be abolished given Super League's decision to expand to 14 teams and scrap loop fixtures ahead of next season, but that now won't be the case.
All Out Rugby League first reported this month that talks remained behind the scenes regarding the continuation of the event, with some clubs arguing that getting rid of the popular weekend would be a huge mistake.
