Jakirovic explains Williams omission as ex-Man Utd ace faces fresh battle

HULL City head coach Sergej Jakirovoc says Brandon Williams will be given the time to get himself back up to speed as he looks to make his mark at the MKM Stadium.

Williams, who joined City on a free transfer during the summer, has played just five minutes of football this season with that coming off the bench in the 3-0 home loss to Blackburn Rovers back in August.
Since then, the 25-year-old missed games with Swansea City and Southampton with a concussion he picked up in training, but was back on the bench at Watford, before being left out of squads for the Tigers' last two home games.
