Hull City need a reset at end of this season

SO, the chips were down... and the Tigers were found wanting, yet again, during a season best forgotten, with the worst home record most fans can remember.

- Rob Milner, Hedon.

Sports editors at the various TV companies covering City’s games this season, must be wringing their hands every time they are asked to put together a highlights package of a Hull City game!

The owner always spoke of making the fans excited; well, in one respect he has achieved that objective - there were around 20,000 City fans about as excited as they could be, but around 4,000 Derby fans were even more excited at the end of the game... for the right reasons!

I've said before about cutting Ruben Selles a ‘bit of slack’ as he largely inherited a squad of players, although he must have had input into the business done in the January transfer window.

Surely, a good manager can impart some new ideas even into an average squad. I see no inventiveness at corners and set pieces. The delivery of balls into the penalty area are either goalkeeping practice, or meat and drink for any competent defender.
