Hall honours Burrow ahead of MND game

RYAN Hall struggles to comprehend it's almost a year since his former Leeds Rhinos teammate Rob Burrow died.

Monday will mark the first year anniversary of the rugby league legend's passing after his battle with motor neurone disease.

Rhinos host their annual MND Awareness game when they entertain Wakefield Trinity on Saturday.

Leeds winger Hall, who spent 11 years playing alongside Burrow winning six Grand Finals together, admitted: “It doesn't feel like a year. It's one of those things where you're aware of it but it's not a nice memory so you try and forget about it.

“You don’t want to forget about Rob but you do want to forget those things attached to it.
