Hadley overlooked by England boss ... but he's not ruled him out

ENGLAND boss Shaun Wane is a fan of Hull KR's Dean Hadley - but still has nagging doubts about his international quality.

The uncapped Robins forward, at home at back-row, prop or loose forward, is enjoying a stellar season for the Super League leaders.

Having already helped them win the Challenge Cup, his industrious, no-nonsense style and consistently high quality displays have seen the 32 year-old earn plenty of plaudits and prompted talk of a Test call-up. KR boss Willie Peters admitted the ex-Hull player "wouldn't look out of place" in the Ashes series and has all the qualities to play at the highest level.

But Hadley didn't make the cut when Wane gathered together 32 players on Tuesday to start prep' for the touring Aussies in the end-of-season three match Test series. However, the national team's head coach has revealed he has a watchlist of talent who he thinks are on the verge of potentially knocking down his door which includes Jake Connor, Alex Walmsley, Kallum Watkins and the Robins ace.
