Frustration over parking at city hospitals

I SHARE the concern of David Fisher (Mail Box, July 1) about the appalling lack of parking facilities at both hospitals in the region.

I had the unfortunate experience of being fined £100 for parking in the only space I could find despite arriving 25 minutes early and trying all three entrances. There were cars, having dropped off their patients, parked on the no parking lines waiting to grab any space. Without a driver a single patient had no chance of parking.
