Cartwright confirms injury blows for Pryce and Asiata

JOHN Cartwright has confirmed a double Hull FC injury blow with his side losing both Will Pryce and John Asiata during Saturday's 18-12 victory over Leigh Leopards.

Pryce limped off the field in the first half with a foot injury, while Asiata suffered a tweak to the same hamstring that had kept him out for the previous 11 weeks prior to the Salford Red Devils game.

Hull also lost Cade Cust and Liam Watts to HIAs during the game.

Cust passed his check, returning to the field late on, with Watts' status to be determined.

Speaking post-match, Cartwright said on Pryce’s injury: “We don't really know (the extent). He's got a foot problem, so it’s not his hamstring.

“We're hopeful it’s not too bad, but we'd only be guessing at the moment.”
