TRIBFEST RETURNS TO EAST YORKSHIRE

- with Dave Norman

A fitting tribute

TOMORROW night sees the return of the much-celebrated Tribfest Music Festival to East Yorkshire and for 2025 the organisers have planned the biggest and best ultimate festival lineup to date.

Tribfest commences from tomorrow running through to Sunday and the family festival includes more than 50 top acts.

The music starts on Thursday night for early-bird ticket holders who can enjoy some top tribute bands on the main stage with Kinda Queen, Heart of Glass and Aynt Skynyrd, a tribute band dedicated to recreating the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

They have a Hull comedy showcase featuring some of the best comedians the area has to offer and there are two stages involved in presenting the festival, the Main Stage and the Big Top.

Three Marquee’s known as The Laughing Cow Comedy One, the Unsigned Marquee and the Acoustic Marquee are always a popular feature.

For younger festival goers there is a Bono’s Music Barn and a Kids Zone and Friday features a host of world-class tribute bands including Tragedy, a Heavy Metal tribute band to the Bee Gees, Abba Revival, The Amy Winehouse Band and Love Distraction, a tribute to the Human League.

Saturday sees top shows from the likes of Totally Tina, Smalltown boy (Jimmy Somervile tribute), Xenna as Taylor Swift, The Ultimate Ariana, The Foo Fighters and Highway to Hull.

Sunday again has a great lineup including Starfish (a tribute to Cold Play), Badness the UK’s top Madness band, I’m Every Whitney and Tony as Robbie.

The Tribfest Music Festival is once again being held in the beautiful surroundings of Sledmere House and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to meet up with other fellow festival friends.
