A MAN has been jailed for more than five years after robbing an 87-year-woman in Hull.

Kurt Taylor, 42-year-old of Edgecumbe Street, Hull, admitted the offence and was sentenced to five years and five months in prison.

Humberside Police said that on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, officers were called to reports that an 87-year-old woman had been knocked to the ground and had her handbag stolen while walking along Nidderdale, near the junction with Airedale in Hull.
