There's something about John Abraham that screams “no-nonsense”.
It is a quality that has translated well into several of his roles over the years, from Madras Cafe (2013) and Satyameva Jayate (2018) to more recently, The Diplomat. His latest, Tehran, benefits from the same.
The film follows special cell officer Rajiv Kumar (John) on a covert mission to punish terrorists responsible for the Delhi bomb blasts of 2012 that claimed several innocent lives, including that of a little girl who happened to be on the street at the wrong time. Fuelled by rage, Rajiv sets out with Divya (Manushi Chhillar) and Vijay (Dinker Sharma) to bring the culprits to justice.
