Need for inclusive libraries in India discussed at IIC

The Free Libraries Network (FLN), in collaboration with the India International Centre (IIC), hosted a day-long conference on Saturday and discussed the proposal for "The People's National Library Policy 2024" that highlights the need for an inclusive and accessible public library system in India.

The FLN, a collective of over 250 libraries around South Asia, released the said policy memo in April this year. Key views in public library reform, community activism, and policy-making were discussed at the event.
