DMRC invites bids for spur line with three-coach trains

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has floated a 456.06-crore tender for the design and construction of a 7.29km viaduct and platforms for seven stations on the Lajpat Nagar-Saket G Block section.
This corridor is a spur of the Golden Line, extending from Tughlakabad to Aerocity, and will feature India's first three-coach train system.
The tender includes viaduct construction and platforms for stations at Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, Greater Kailash-1, Andrews Ganj, and Lajpat Nagar. Work on the eighth station, Saket G Block, is already underway as part of the Phase 4 works and will serve as an interchange station.
