RANCHI: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on Friday urged farmers to take inspiration from the agricultural work of Indian cricket icon and state resident Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who produces export-quality vegetables despite a busy schedule.

"MS Dhoni does farming as well. Vegetables produced by him are exported abroad. Now you think—when a cricket player with such a busy schedule is associated with farming, why can't we, who are engaged in agricultural work round the clock, also work hard in the field and achieve success?" Soren said while addressing over 2,000 farmers associated with the Jharkhand Milk Federation (JMF), who participated in the inauguration of the state's first milk powder plant at the Medha Plant premises in Hotwar.
