Patna: MBBS student detained in nursing student suicide case

A fourth-year MBBS student of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JNMCH), Bhagalpur, on Monday has been detained on the charges of abetment to suicide after a BSC nursing student allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself at a lodge located at SM College road falling under Barari police station area of Bhagalpur district late on Saturday night.
PATNA: A fourth-year MBBS student of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JNMCH), Bhagalpur, on Monday has been detained on the charges of abetment to suicide after a BSC nursing student allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself at a lodge located at SM College road falling under Barari police station area of Bhagalpur district late on Saturday night.
There was no suicide note from the deceased, but the man was detained by the police after the victim's father accused him of harassment.
The victim was a resident of Rajaun in Banka district, while the MBBS student is a native of Arwal district.
