Official jailed, to lose job for issuing domicile certificate to ‘Dog Babu’

A day after registering FIR against the applicant, the computer operator and the officer who issued the residential certificate in the name of 'Dog Babu', the Patna DM Thiyagarajan SM on Tuesday visited Masaurhi block office with city SP (East), Masaurhi SDO and other officials to conduct a detailed investigation into this matter.
The inquiry found that the certificate was processed by an executive technical assistant, Mintu Kumar Nirala, who was immediately sent to jail and his termination process was said to be underway.
