JHARIA MAN'S KILLING A FALLOUT OF INTER-STATE GANG RIVALRY: SP

A day after unknown assailants gunned down a youth in broad daylight at Katras Mor under Jharia police station limits, police on Wednesday said the killing appeared to be the fallout of an interstate gang rivalry linked to Bihar's Saran district.
According to officials, the deceased, identified as Prem Yadav, son of Sunil Rai of Phulwaria village in Saran, had been living in Jharia for over a month.
Briefing the media on Wednesday evening, city SP Ritwik Srivastava confirmed that Yadav was an accused in a double-murder case in Bihar.
