ASI INJURED IN ‘KNIFE ATTACK’ IN DARBHANGA

Tension gripped Khajasarai locality under Laheriasarai police station in Darbhanga on Saturday evening after an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) was allegedly stabbed during a Muharram procession.
According to police, ASI Amit Kumar sustained a stab injury in his left thigh following a scuffle with some participants of the procession, reportedly agitated over the placement of barricades on the road.
