BJP Falsely Taking Credit for Constitution Club: Dotasra

Rajasthan Congress president and MLA Govind Singh Dotasra on Wednesday slammed the BJP for turning politics into "credit and conspiracy," and accused the party of falsely taking credit for the Constitution Club inauguration, which was completed under the previous Congress government.

- HT Correspondent

JAIPUR: He also raised concerns about the Speaker's decisions, questioning his role and decisions under government pressure.

"The BJP government wants to take credit by inaugurating the Constitution Club, which was ready during the previous Congress government, under the guise of a 'second' or so-called inauguration. This is an incorrect tradition," Dotasra said on X.

Dotasara said, "The people of Rajasthan know that the construction of the Constitution Club in the Assembly was done during the Congress government. On September 22, 2023, then chief minister, Ashok Gehlot, inaugurated the Constitution Club in the presence of Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi and Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, as mentioned on the inscription plaque."

However, after the change of government, the BJP kept the Constitution Club closed to take credit by calling its "second" inauguration a so-called beginning, he said.
