Three apprehended for misbehaving with COs

Three youths were arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman Circle Officer (CO) posted in Rohtas district and her male friend, who were visiting hillocks and forests near Geeta Ghat Ashram, close to Sasaram.
The male friend was later identified as Kaushal Kumar, the CO of Revelganj circle in Saran district, police said.
A video of the incident, which went viral on Friday, showed both officers being chased by at least 8-10 villagers as they returned from the forested area. In the footage, Kaushal Kumar is seen apologising and saying, “Leave, brother. I will not do this again.”
