Police, bomb squad search Rajinikanth, Dhanush's homes after bomb threat

On Monday, the Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP) received emails claiming that bombs had been planted at the residences of actors Rajinikanth and Dhanush, among other VIPs in the city.

The first email, received at around 8.30am, targeted Rajinikanth's Poes Garden residence, with a second threat arriving a few hours later at 6.30pm.
