Ahead of the assembly polls in October-November, the Opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc leaders in Bihar will hold rallies in every division and take out a statewide yatra to highlight alleged failures of the state government after Raksha Bandhan (August 9), said leader of the Opposition in Bihar assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Wednesday.

Tejashwi added that leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi would also take part in these planned rallies.

“We will go to the people after Raksha Bandhan. National leaders of INDIA bloc including me would participate in the yatra and rallies in divisions. Leader of the opposition in lok sabha Rahul Gandhi would also participate in the yatra. We are in constant touch with him,” said Yadav, while holding a presser after the coordination committee meeting of INDIA bloc at his residence on Wednesday.

He said the route of the yatra and rallies at divisional towns would be announced soon, asserting that all national leaders of the INDIA bloc would attend these events, which is considered as a pre-election campaign of the Opposition bloc.
