'Made to drink urine': RJD MLA booked for torturing JD-U cadre

Police in Bihar's Purnea district late on Thursday evening booked an RJD MLA and his five brothers in connection with a brutal assault on a local JD-U leader.
PURNEA: The injured complainant is undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) of Purnea has accused that RJD MLA even forced him to drink urine.
The MLA has ruled out his involvement in it.
Baisi MLA Syed Rukunuddin, an AIMIM turncoat who joined RJD in 2022, has also been accused of indulging in corrupt practices in the area and JD-U leaders in the area have raised it vociferously especially as the elections are drawing near.
