PATNA: State Congress has advocated the need for a joint action plan among all allies in the opposition Grand Alliance (GA) in Bihar, including RJD, CPI, and CPIM-ML(Liberation), so that there are more joint meetings of leaders, campaigns, and co-ordination among constituents ahead of the Assembly polls in Bihar later this year.

On Sunday, top state Congress leaders, including newly appointed state Congress president Rajesh Kumar, met the leader of the opposition, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, former CM Rabri Devi, state secretary CPI-ML(Liberation) Kunal, and also CPI state leaders at their party offices and held meetings on the need for a joint action plan.

"We have proposed the idea of having a joint action plan to Tejashwi and also to Left parties so that there is close co-ordination among allies ahead of the Assembly polls in Bihar," said Congress legislator party (CLP) leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan. Khan said the response from the RJD top leaders was positive and the Left leaders also appreciated the idea.
