Congress Misleading People About Digital Fraud Figures, Says Govt

The government on Monday refuted claims by the Congress that people were losing their hard-earned money in digital frauds and said that the opposition party is misleading the people.
NEW DELHI:
Officials said that it is "fear-mongering and creating doubts about the strength of the banking sector", and a total of 63,315 cases of "digital payment frauds" have been recorded in the country, with a total financial loss amounting to ₹733.26 crore.
