No significant impact from a fresh western disturbance which is likely to affect Himalayan region
LUCKNOW: The maximum temperature in the state is expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next five days, according to the state weather forecast bulletin.
Though a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from March 9, it is not expected to have a significant impact on the state.
While for the second consecutive day, Jhansi recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state. On Friday, it rose to 34.1°C, up from 31.7°C on Thursday—an increase of 2.4 degrees in just a day. Other recorded temperatures include Hamirpur (32.2°C), Prayagraj (32.1°C), Kanpur (IAF) and Varanasi (BHU) at 32°C. Agra also saw a notable rise, reaching 31.1°C.
