RMLIMS ICTCs Record Highest Footfall; 193 Tested Positive for HIV

The new Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (ICTC) that was opened at the Mother and Child Referral Hospital in 2024 has attended to around 7,500 patients in one year.
LUCKNOW: Along with the ICTC established in 2009 at the main Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences campus, this year the RMLIMS ICTCs have attended to 8,800 patients, their highest ever.
The ICTCs come under the purview of the department of microbiology, RMLIMS, and these numbers were revealed in the department's annual report, which was released on Monday, on the occasion of World Health Day. While the ICTC at the Mother and Child Referral Hospital does antenatal care tests, the other at RMLIMS does HIV testing.
