Despite complaints against him for sexually exploiting women students, Rajneesh Kumar, a senior professor at a degree college in Hathras district, remained chief proctor of the institution over the years, Seth Phool Chand Bagla (PG) College principal Mahaveer Singh Chonkar confirmed on Monday.

Kumar has been elusive since March 13 when a case was registered against him.
A resident of Chaman Vihar Colony in Hathras city, the accused professor has his roots in Javra village in Mant tehsil of Mathura district.
Police teams were sent to possible hideouts, including his village in Mathura, but he was not found there. Police search continued, said officials privy to the matter.
