Simplify processes of schemes, officials told

In a bid to ensure timely delivery of welfare benefits, additional chief secretary of the social justice and empowerment department Aparna Arora on Monday directed officials to simplify all processes — from application to verification — and make them technologically user-friendly.
Arora said all processes related to various schemes, including pension and scholarships, should be simplified and made technically user-friendly so that the benefits of government schemes can reach the common people promptly.
