The Delhi high court on Thursday discharged a man in an adultery case, invoking the Mahabharata to underscore the consequences of treating women as property.
NEW DELHI: Justice Neena Bansal Krishna cited the instance in which Yudhishthira gambled away Draupadi, triggering the epic war, to highlight the enduring misogyny in society.
